Electronics

Peyton and his Blue DSi

Paige and her Pink DSi
Caleb and his DSi

Mason and his XBOX 360 Kinnect
I feel like Electronics these days are getting pushed on kids younger and younger. All our kids wanted for Christmas this year was electronics. Mason even went as far as asking for a iPad, like that is going to happen..Mom gets one first!!! They did however get their fair share of gadgets, and I just need to face the facts that we live in a electronic world.

Babies Babies and More Babies

Cayden Matthew.

Izabella Maja

My sister and my Best Gal Pal Darci both recently had babies. My Sister a Girl and Darci a Boy. It is so fun to get my baby fix and then give these bundles of joy back to their loving parents!! Lets face it as cute and cuddly as they are...I do NOT miss those sleep-less nights!!
I stopped at Babies R Us to get a gift for cute little Cayden and I was so shocked at how much "Baby Technology" has changed in just the few years. Cayden has a swing that looks as if it is going to send him to the moon. And Pack-n-Play these days they are like the Cadillac of pack-n-plays!!

I congratulate you both and welcome to parent hood!!!

MY BOYS

Mason and Caleb LOVE Sports, and I am thrilled that they want to stay so active. I really only have myself to blame when I complain about having to run them all over to these activities, since I am the one who signs them up!! I am lucky that my mom lives close to where Paige takes Dance. She is really good at taking Paige for me when the boys also have something going.
This last Thursday me and Peyton just hung out up at the High School while Mason and Caleb practiced. We watched some of the Girls Basketball game while enjoying our Coke Slushies from the concessions and then watched the boys finish out their Wrestling Practice. Sports makes my life a tad more busy, but it is so FUN to watch my kids figure out what they like and dislike and but so much effort into everything they try!!! Plus Grandma kept Miss Paige over night, so I got to just hang with my Boys for a night to themselves!!

A Coffee Lovers MUST have!!

Coffee is a MUST for me in the morning. I have had my fair share of Coffee Makers and usually stick with them till they die, leak, crack..etc. So with all the buzz on the Keurig I started eyeing one and wondering is it "really" worth the $$. So one night while kid-free I drug Troy with me to Bed Bath & Beyond...don't let him fool ya, he secretly has a LOVE for this store!! So we researched / stared at the Coffee Makers and well you see what I left with. I can say it was WELL worth the money. And being I am the only one that drinks coffee in this house, buying K Cups (that is what a Keurig takes.) is just about the same as buying grounds. So when you are in the need for a new Coffee Maker..mind you K cups also come in Tea, Hot Chocolate...lots of Yummo coffee flavors keep in mind the Keurig!!

Wow

I can NOT believe I have not posted since before Christmas. I guess with Facebook and all it just seems like you repeat yourself on the blog. However we do have family that reads this, and does NOT participate with Facebook...I know shocking life w/out Facebook. Some days I think I would get so much more accomplished if I limited my Facebook time.

The kids have half days this week, however the pre-school has decided not to follow this schedule. So I got some free time with Paige this morning why the boys where at school. She asked if I could curl her hair and put on some make-up for her. Now remember she is ONLY 4. I do allow her to play with make-up but not so much on school days. Because honestly it is a little scary too see how she applies make-up, I try to save that for the days we have nothing going on!!

It was nice to spend some one on one time with her. I tend not to get that often, something I need to make more of a priority with each one of them. So once again I promise to try to stay up with both blogs.

Christmas Parties

Paige and her classmates singing!
Sampling some of the Candy before we put it on the Gingerbread house.

Oh and don't forget to sample the frosting....YUM.

This is the time of year were I really need 3 more of me. I have to say this is one of the difficult aspects of having 4 kids, you just can not make it do all of their functions, parties, trips, etc...especially when they fall on the same day in totally different buildings. I always try my best to get a family member to take my place, most of the time I can work it out! It is me or is this Holiday Season just FLYING by.

SICK KIDS

Well we have moved, settled in for the most part...All just in time for a nasty Virus to hit our house. Peyton was the first victim, now it is Paige. We visited the DR just for them to tell us all was fine and let it run it's course. I am usually calm when it comes to the kids getting sick..I mean I have 4...we have been through this MANY of times. But when the kids start running high fevers it scares even me. I hope we got this all out of our system before the Holidays!!
